I find that always amazing to see Japanese driving French cars, especially in the countryside. In Tokyo, I’ve seen a couple a 206 (Peugeot), one Renault Kangoo, one or two 2CV by Citroen. Of course in Tokyo you see far less french cars than German or American cars… In the countryside (well at least in the area where I am living), I’ve seen more than in Tokyo. And people have less german cars, because of the lack of money I guess.

Again I’ve seen a couple of 206, 306 and 307. Only Peugeot. But I was even more surprised when I saw this car on the parking lot of the local hospital:

That’s right, a 406 Coupe with custom wheels. Maybe in Tokyo I would have been less surprised, but in Minamiuonuma, it was kind of a shock…

These are two songs that have been for a while in my winamp playlist. Not that amazing, but that sticks in your head and soon you become obsessed…

Apparently a big hit in 2008, I am listening a lot to this one atm… Wait Universal disactivated embedding for this videoclip…　Ok found another one. Wait it seems it’s from a drama, Rookies (and a manga I think). Looks cool, maybe I should give it a go.

Pour rappel, CoE = Certificate of Eligibility 

12h07 ce matin, coup de téléphone du domicile familial, qui ne manque pas de me réveiller (sans commentaires) : Mon certificat d'éligibilité ainsi que d'autres documents de mon université viennent d'arriver du Japon par le service postal EMS. Mon dossier complet et traduit en anglais avait été envoyé le 10 Juillet à mon université qui demandait certains garanties financières afin de se porter garante pour ma demande de CoE auprès de l'administration japonaise. Arrivé hier matin 19 Août en France, soit 1 mois et 9 jours. Dans la moyenne à ce que j'ai pu lire à droite et à gauche. Je commençais à vraiment stresser, car sans CoE à 20 jours du départ pour le Japon, sachant qu'il faut aller à Paris pour obtenir le visa ensuite, donc bloquer deux jours… Je finis de travailler le 28, enchaîne directement avec un voyage en TGV vers la capitale puis reprends le train le lendemain après-midi pour revenir @home (en espèrant que la matinée suffise pour déposer les documents à l'Ambassade du Japon). Il me restera donc 10 jours normalement pour boucler le reste des préparatifs de départ.
